The Biltmore in Coral Gables was the location this year for the yearly gala. Cuban themed momentos at the party just filled the room! From the cigar roller to the paintings and decor displaying different decades giving the party a totally Cuban feel. What a Havana Night themed party and its look! Furthermore,as the musical entertainment for the night ,we performed the right mix giving the true authentic feel of Cuba!

How do you get the sound of Cuba?
First of all to get that cuban sound,I mix lots of types of Salsa to keep the night lively as well as keep it danceable.Seems like lots of great music from Pitbull to Celia Cruz cater to a good mix of music to perform, Maybe on occasion we might just throw in a very spicy “Electric Slide” (Yes it was one of the requests), Probably for some this would be not wise but adding the conga drums added the feel.Almost always having songs with lots of percussion do the trick.
Also have a great repertoire covering the decades of post 50’s Cuba and music does give the sound for any havana night party. Another great example is performing the conga on trumpet was the real show pleaser. Its such a signature call when i get to play some Trumpet melodies, Furthermore adding just loops as a DJ allows the dancing to be continuous.Same as back in the day when all you had was percussion and the occasional wind instrument.
